THE BOULDER is a literary serial about precarious labor under late capitalism. Quantum mechanics as metaphor: the freelancer exists in permanent superposition—employed and unemployed, valued and discarded—until the boss observes and collapses the wavefunction. Always into the least favorable state.

No. 1: THE PUSH introduces Darwin, a freelancer trapped in orbit around Cordy, a client-employer whose chaos arrives in ten emails between 11:43 and 11:56 pm. He's fired. He's hired. Rent is due. The radiator is broken. The boulder is already rolling.

Formatted as a pulp zine with fake ads and visual design elements.
